SRX25688896: RNAseq of mCherry positive cells at day 40 after transplantation
1 ILLUMINA (NextSeq 2000) run: 21.7M spots, 1.5G bases, 495.8Mb downloads

Design: Cells of whole animal recipient were dissociated and mCherry positive cells were FACS sorted. RNA was extracted using TRIzol. Library was constructed using NEBNext Ultra II DNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina (New England Biolabs).

Study: Candidate Stem Cell Isolation and Transplantation in Hexacorallia
show Abstracthide Abstract
We aimed to study the capacity of candidate stem cells in Nematostella vectensis to differentiate upon transplantation into a recipient animal. TBP::mCherry transgenic animals were used as donors. Cells were isolated from the mesentery of a donor and RNA was extracted. 40 days upon transplantation recipient animals were dissociated and mCherry positive cells were isolated by FACS. RNA was then extracted and sequenced. We then compared the transcriptomes before and after transplantation.
Sample: mCherry positive cells of the recipient at 40 days after transplantation.
